‘The Water Village’ (McBrat Motion Pictures) has wrapped the second block of filming which took place in Brunei. It was a wonderful experience getting to travel and see new corners of the world alongside getting back in front of camera. Remaining scenes will be shot in Australia later this year. Big thanks to all the wonderful Bruneian cast, crew and community who were so kind and generous with their time ensuring I was looked after, as well the travelling Australian team who were equally great. While I was there I recorded a few interviews with cast and crew regarding the experience, so I’m currently editing the footage together as a mini-doco that will get released alongside the film in the future!

The Water Village is directed by Stuart McBratney and produced by Nadia Kamis, who both co-wrote the script. They were also part of the previous McBrat Motion Pictures film, ‘Strangers in a Car Park’ which made its Australian premiere on 9Go! on 16th June. It is currently available to view online until 14th July on 9Now.
